Development of eBusiness in general has opened multiple possibilities for implementation of different types of payment services over mobile phones.mCommerce in general represents a wide range of services known as “commerce over mobile”. However, internal regulations regarding mobile operators in Serbia, including mCommerce area have mapped precisely the payment services that can be involved.

ComTrade IT Solutions and Services Development Team, following worldwide trends has designed a system for payment per mobile phone. The entire process is based on replacement of payment cards with a mobile device, and the payment process itself is delivered through a POS terminal.
The process involves the following steps:
- Customer selects a desired product
- Sales person inputs the customer’s mobile phone number or a special customer number in the POS terminal instead of using the customer’s credit or debit card
- Sales person inputs the required amount in POS terminal
- Customer receives an SMS with charged amount and transaction PIN number
- By entering PIN number customer receives an SMS with information that transaction has been approved
- If the right PIN has been entered, POS terminal will display that the transaction is finished
This system of electronic payment can be used in a wide variety of business areas. Expansion of electronic payment system is expected in the next years, so benefits of this type of payment over mobile phones will be more and more apparent.
SMS parking
SMS parking is an example of a successful SMS service implementing micro payments. ComTrade IT Solutions and Services can provide a complete solution for this service. As a value added service to parking payment system in city zones there is a system providing an overview of available parking spaces in public garages and the option for reserving the same. This project, under working title PIRS, was developed in cooperation with Belgrade Business School.

SMS for public transport solutions - GSP ticketing & info service
SMS4GSP is a service that allows customers to buy tickets for public transportation over their mobile phones. System allows purchase of single tickets, time limited and night shift tickets.
As an added service within the SMS GSP solution citizens can request additional information about specific routs or schedules. This type of service is implemented for JP “Železnice Srbije” and citizens can check, by sending an SMS to 3636, schedule.
