Since 1996, ComTrade is organizing an international summer school named EdIT – Education for Inovative Thinkers.
The goal of this summer school is provide young software developers and future IT professionals with the opportunity to develop their skills through actual work and prepare themselves for future career challenges. Working on actual projects, under the supervision of experienced mentors, they use their acquired knowledge and adapt to real-life conditions in a high-tech company, gaining valuable experience they can use in their further career advancements.
EdIT started in 1996 as a small project with only 10 participants, and became a traditional regional event in the past decade and a half. This summer school takes place in several towns in Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, and gathers the best students from technology high-schools and faculties, along with economy students focused on IT solution business analysis.
For many IT students participation in EdIT presents a major career milestone, providing them with valuable knowledge and experience they will surely use in their future professional life. The most successful ones are often employed at ComTrade.
All expenses of the Education for Inovative Thinkers summer schools are covered by ComTrade, and the participants are selected by their demonstrated knowledge and skills.
