“Knowledge Factory” enters 5th year with new energy

Višegrad & Podgorica, September 2013.

Once again, ComTrade and its partners will support the largest IT-related event in South-Eastern Europe, promoting the role of information technologies in the education process and motivating young people to pursue careers in the technology field.

Started out of the desire to expand community outreach and accelerate growth of IT literacy in the region, ComTrade’s “Knowledge Factory” has quickly become a tradition and established a clear identity as an event dedicated to the future of education. Accumulated experience and evolving interest from visitors and responsible state institutions allowed the organization team to think ambitiously, transforming “Knowledge Factory” into a regional event that has already covered Serbia (2009 and 2010), Montenegro (2011 and 2012) and Republic of Srpska (2012).

We are proud to announce that Knowledge Factory 2013 will continue the trends started in previous years and deliver new educational contents to hundreds of elementary, secondary and university students. As was the case in 2012, the event will take place in two locations – at Višegrad, Republic of Srpska (September 11th-12th), and at Podgorica, Montenegro (September 24th-25th). Planned activities will include a series of lectures related to key issues in the contemporary IT industry, including opportunities for career building, introduction of innovative mobile devices or compilation of Google Maps.

By continuing with “Knowledge Factory” for the fifth year in a row, we are hoping to make a positive impact on the generations that will be counted on to carry the industry in the near future, thus preparing the grounds for great things to come. We will keep you informed about progress made at the official website of the event www.fabrikaznanja.com – be ready for a lot of cool pictures very soon.
