ComTrade Announces New End-to-End Monitoring and Management of Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager
ComTrade, a Citrix Ready® partner, is working to develop a new Management Pack to help Citrix customers monitor and manage CloudPortal Services Manager with Microsoft Systems Center 2012 Operations Manager
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA ― May 9, 2012 ― ComTrade, a leading developer of management products for Microsoft System Center, today announced it is working with Citrix to give customers the ability to connect Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to Citrix CloudPortal™ Services Manager.
ComTrade has announced that it will be launching a demonstration of this new Management Pack at Citrix Synergy™, San Francisco, May 9-11, with a full release slated for October 2012. ComTrade Management Pack for Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager will be compatible with Microsoft Systems Center 2012 and include monitoring and management of infrastructure components such as the provisioning engine and agents.
End-To-End Monitoring & Management of Self-Service Provisioning
ComTrade’s Management Pack for Citrix CloudPortal Services Manager helps service providers to measure, monitor and manage provisioning of hosted apps, desktops and cloud services, and delivers a complete end-to-end view of their Citrix portal environment from within Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager.
As a result of the Citrix Ready partnership, customers will receive a scalable and fault-tolerant monitoring and management solution that plugs directly into Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, eliminating the need for a separate monitoring framework. In addition, customers will be able to monitor their environment’s health and state, from connectivity issues to utilization, to load and availability across all CloudPortal components.
Usage-based Licensing Model to Align with Citrix Service Provider Program
In addition, ComTrade will begin offering its management products for Citrix XenDesktop® and Citrix XenApp™ in a consumption based licensing model. This is aligned with the Citrix Service Provider program and enables services providers with a predictable and flexible cost model.
