HERMES SoftLab Management Pack for Citrix XenServer for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 awarded the Citrix Ready™ designation

HERMES SoftLab Management Pack for Citrix XenServer helps enhance Citrix Delivery Center Infrastructure solutions.

November 4th, 2009, Mountain View, Ljubljana – HERMES SoftLab, a ComTrade company, today announced that its Management Pack for Citrix® XenServer™ for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (MP for Citrix XenServer) has been awarded the Citrix Ready™ designation. The Citrix Ready program showcases select trusted solutions designed to enhance the Citrix Delivery Center™ infrastructure, and provides customer assurance in joint solution compatibility. Customers can be confident that HERMES SoftLab MP for Citrix XenServer has successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix to work effectively and add value on top of the XenServer virtualization platform.

HERMES SoftLab MP for Citrix XenServer unifies the monitoring of your XenServer-based infrastructure with the rest of the IT estate around a single Microsoft System Center Operations Manager enterprise console. Immediately after the dependencies between pools, hosts, VMs, and storage have been auto-discovered and visualized, the operations monitoring staff can take over routine day-to-day supervision tasks and resolve situations when, for example, an overloaded host or VM is detected, or when shared storage utilization runs high. XenServer experts can further use the historical performance information to optimize resource utilization and better understand and resolve those hidden bottlenecks, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the XenServer environment. Last but not least, the non-invasive agent-less approach guarantees ease of deployment and environmental stability. Citrix Ready products are featured in an online catalog at www.citrixready.com, and carry the Citrix Ready logo.

“The Citrix Ready designation dramatically increases our visibility to Citrix Delivery Center customers, clearly demonstrating our commitment to providing solutions that add management value to the Citrix XenServer portfolio,” said Janko Cajhen, HERMES SoftLab CEO. “We also look forward to extending our support to Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop products, and to addressing a community in which vendors and customers can interact and share information through the dedicated Citrix Ready e-marketplace.”
