Finance Day 2026: Shaping the Future Through Better Decisions
For the seventh year in a row, Finance Day conference brought together leaders, experts, and professionals from the financial industry for a day of open conversations, fresh perspectives, and ideas about the forces shaping the future.
This year’s event, held under the theme “Architecture of Decisions”, explored a fundamental question: how are technology, people, and new ways of thinking changing the decisions that shape financial institutions?
Across the day, conversations touched on some of the most important developments facing the industry – from the current role of artificial intelligence in financial services to the possibilities of the “invisible financial service” of 2036, as well as the evolution of business models, organizational structures, and entirely new ways of working.
Rather than looking at technology in isolation, Finance Day 2026 focused on the connection between innovation and the decisions that turn possibilities into real change. The discussions offered different perspectives on where the financial industry stands today, where it could be heading, and what it will take to navigate that journey.
The event was opened by Veselin Jevrosimović, President of Comtrade Group, who welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for the industry to come together, exchange knowledge, and look ahead.
Throughout the event, panelists and moderators brought together diverse experiences and perspectives.
The panels were moderated by Nikola Polić, CEO of Comtrade System Integration, Sanja Trbulin, Head of Sales for Finance Division, and Miroslav Marinković, financial expert. The panelists included experts from Banca Intesa, OTP Bank, NLB Bank, Erste Bank, Aik Bank, Generali insurance, DDOR insurance, UNIQA insurance and Nova Bank.
