Horizons 2026: Exploring What’s Next

What does the future of business look like when technology is evolving faster than ever? Or even shorter – what can we expect next? That question was at the heart of Horizons 2026 conference, organized by Comtrade for the second year in a row.

Across the event, the focus moved from technologies themselves to what businesses can achieve with them. Data & AI, Cloud, and Cyber Security were among the key themes, alongside broader discussions about new opportunities, changing expectations, and the decisions that can move organizations forward.

Whether it is adopting AI, building more resilient digital infrastructure, protecting critical systems, or rethinking established ways of working, technological change increasingly influences how businesses make decisions, compete, grow, and create value.

Horizons created space for those conversations by bringing together voices with different experiences and perspectives.

The event also looked beyond technology to the people behind every transformation. Ambition, leadership, adaptability, and the willingness to make bold decisions remain essential when turning technological possibilities into meaningful outcomes. One of the participants of this particular panel was no other than Veselin Jevrosimović, President of Comtrade, and the discussion was moderated by Dušan Milićević, Chief Business Officer of Comtrade Group.

Other three panels were moderated by Comtrade System Integration experts Radenko Baković, Đorđe Nedeljković, and Mile Jelić, while the panelists included a variety of established professionals from companies, organizations, and enterprises across the country.

The second edition of Horizons once again demonstrated the value of bringing the industry together – to share knowledge, challenge assumptions, learn from one another, and leave with new questions and ideas. Looking forward to Horizons 2027!
