Launch of new MPX Alliance with Comtrade, Veeam & Nice

This week three of the world’s largest management products companies came together and formed a new alliance that is being marketed by Microsoft.

Comtrade, Veeam & Nice have launched a new online web portal mpxalliance.com and will be co-marketing each other’s products to the global marketplace. The key benefit of this is that for the first time, customers will have a one stop shop to buy all of their management packs in one place.

An interesting effect of this new venture is that our combined resources gives the alliance members a massive set of resources. The alliance has in total:

  • 130,000 customers
  • 30,000 channel partners
  • 2000 software engineers

Cameron Fuller, Microsoft MVP and Corporate Practice Lead for Catapult Systems, described this new alliance with the following quote: “System Center Operations Manager provides a flexible framework for monitoring which can be used to monitor both Microsoft and non-Microsoft solutions. The vendors in this alliance provide solid examples of how this framework can be extended to provide monitoring for the solutions which are critical to your business.”

The alliance is being run out of the Comtrade System Software & Tools division and was officially launched on Thursday in Dallas Texas at the annual System Center Universe Event.
