That’s a wrap for EDIT 2022!
Another successful edition of Comtrade summer IT school is behind us: see how it all looked like!
With a lovely closing ceremony held on Friday, July 29th, we’ve officially closed this year’s EDIT!
It was the 26th edition of Comtrade summer IT school, which has grown to become one of the largest and most sought-after in the region. Once again, we were joined by colleagues from different countries, and the agreement was almost unanimous – with each year that passes, EDIT and its students only get better!
This year, the whole summer school concept was expanded, while the capacities were increased to offer invaluable hands-on experience to as many young people as possible. Overall, we’ve had 118 students from three countries, 20 mentors, 19 teams, and 13 organizers! Live events, open days and team buildings were organized across Comtrade offices in the region, while students and mentors worked in international teams, with colleagues from Slovenia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
EDIT students got to choose between three different topics for their IT projects:
- Anomaly detection in air traffic
- Bring it to life with React Native
- Start your future with a low-code platform
This means they had a chance to work with microservice architecture, React Native platform, and in a low-code environment: similar to what they would encounter during a typical IT workday. We’re proud to say that this EDIT generation showed so much talent, knowledge and kindness: we’re sure there are great things ahead of them!
We hope everyone has enjoyed this journey as much as we did, as we remain focused on helping new generations of IT experts prepare for the job market and go on to shape the future.
