The enrollment for Comtrade’s EdIT summer school is now open

Comtrade proudly continues the tradition of EdIT (Education for Innovative Thinkers) summer school of programming. EdIT 2015 will be held in July across six cities in the region – Belgrade, Kragujevac, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Maribor and Ljubljana.

Through a two-week educational program and team work, students attending Comtrade’s summer school of programming will have the opportunity to work on a project in a simulated work environment and gain valuable hands-on experience, which will contribute to their future careers. One of the goals of EdIT is synergy of theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as making first contact with Comtrade’s potential candidates.
This year, the theme of EdIT in Serbia will be “Safety Life Tracking”. This project involves developing a user application for monitoring roads and traffic. The goal of the project is to create a synchronized view of a video recording and position on the map via a web application. You can read more about the theme here.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the theme will be “Single-page Application and Cloud API” in Sarajevo, and “Video Player with Annotations” in Banja Luka. To read more about the themes, visit us on our local page.

This year in Slovenia the themes of the summer school are “Mobility as a Service” and “Sustainable Mobility” in Ljubljana, and in Maribor the theme is “Development of Muti-level Solutions with Lego Robots”. EdIT summer school is open to international applicants and will be held in Ljubljana with a focus on two themes: “Mobility as a Service” and “Sustainable Mobility”. EdIT summer school of programming is offered free of charge to all participants as all expenses are covered by Comtrade.
