Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Our growing company Comtrade System Integration is currently seeking for Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our ICT Team in Belgrade.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of cybersecurity services and competencies within the organization;
• Implement new cybersecurity solutions to address and enhance customers’ security needs;
• Prepare and draft technical specifications for projects and solutions;
• Analyze software and hardware specifications to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards;
• Actively participate in both presales and post-sales activities;
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to expand the company’s security portfolio;
• Contribute to the development of the Cyber Security team by mentoring colleagues, promoting continuous learning, and fostering a proactive approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field of work;
• Technical expertise in the field of cybersecurity, with “hands-on” experience in one or more of the following security technologies: SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), Privileged Access Management (PAM), EDR/XDR solutions, Email and Web Security, or other relevant security domains;
• Strong knowledge of networking principles and enterprise security design;
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional technical, sales, and business development teams;
• Experience in technical presales activities and business development, with the ability to bridge technical expertise and customer needs;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Knowledge of project-leading activities and proven ability to foster effective teamwork.

Preferred qualifications and knowledge that will be considered an advantage:

• Recognized cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications (e.g., GSEC, GCIH) ;
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and related best practices.
