HERMES SoftLab to deliver Service Management solution to MOBI’S Telekom Srpske
Banja Luka, Bosnia Herzegovina, August 2005 – HERMES SoftLab has signed a contract with MOBI’S Telekom Srspke to deliver a Service Management solution based on HP OpenView for the monitoring and management of key IP-based telecom infrastructure and applications.
In a consortium with the company Lanaco –a local HP partner, provider of Hardware and Software-, HERMES SoftLab will deliver consulting and implementation services to build the management solution covering network, systems and applications and will provide customized training and solution support. The solution will enable MOBI’S to monitor and manage Value Added Services (VAS) infrastructure such as SMS Center, MMS Center, WAP Gateway, IN, VAS Messaging Platform. It will also allow monitoring of key VAS applications such as Infotainment services, logos, and ring tones that have become a very important element in the MOBI’S offering.
With this solution, MOBI’S will implement a centralized management to proactively monitor the availability and performance of VAS infrastructure and applications, enabling them to avoid faults while reducing the IT staff efforts to identify the root cause of failures when they occur, and ultimately to improve the end user experience. MOBI’S will also be able to improve their capacity planning for new infrastructure, based on real time performance data and trend analysis.
